Breathtaking Bavaria

I know: Many wouldn't necessarily associate Bavaria with "breathtaking", but COVID-induced travel limitations bring about the most surprising mind blows. Having lived in Munich for more than 20 years now, the pandemic made me finally discover the pristine beauty of my home region through multiple weekend hikes in an amazing, refreshing and deeply "rooting" nature. And sometimes, when you least expect it, you suddenly discover a view that could easily be somewhere in New Zealand...
